Max

MAX - rescued from a terrible situation in LaGrande and is in need of a loving home! He was born approx. August 2018. Not 100% sure of his breed (mix) possibly part rat terrier and Chihuahua. He is a small dog weighs about 9 pounds. Very sweet, loving and eager to learn. He is scheduled for his vaccinations and neuter this week, Jan. 28, 2019. Max

Max is a 2 year old Black Lab still intact. He loves cats and other dogs although it takes him a few days to get fully comfortable with other big dogs. He is housebroken but also loves outside. Barney

Barney is a Neutered, German Shephard who is an older dog...senior age. He does NOT get along with my cat apparently he is fine with my neighbors cat. I think it is just because my cat hates him. :/ Barney is a King Shepherd which is a larger type of German Shepherd. He is mostly outside because of our older cats but has a bed in the garage so technically is indoor/outdoor. He is still playful and loves to run. SWEETPEA - a Female, Spotted Tabby (Bangle?) Mix kitty born approx. July 1, 2018, sister to Trixie who was adopted in Dec. She was found abandoned at the Tamkaliks grounds in Wallowa, she is very lovable, friendly, quiet and gentle. Very low key and DOG FRIENDLY! Did I mentioned she likes to pose for the camera? She is litter box trained. Her markings are absolutely gorgeous, a Must See! Sweetpea has her appointment to be spayed on Jan. 29th, 2018. She is up to date on her vaccinations, and deworming, is litter box trained and ready for a permanent, loving home. Samson

SAMSON – Male, Gray and White Tabby born approx. Nov. 1st. This little guy, along with another kitten was seen being tossed out of a moving car window in Elgin. Luckily his only injury was a scrape on his nose. He is Little snuggler and very playful. Gentle spirit, not aggressive wants to be everyone's friend. Up to date on shots and de-worming. ROSALLITA – A beautiful, female, short-haired, Blue/Gray/Brown Tabby, born approx. Oct. 30, 2018. Indie

Indie is about 3-1/4 years old. He is a neutered standard poodle and weighs 90 lbs. Absolutely a no with cats! He hates cats! Other dogs? Depends. Can come accross agressive when being first introduced. Since Indie is a big dog weighing in at 90 lbs, he could easily knock over a youngster or a senior citizen by mistake. He is up to date on all vacinations and is under the care of Double Arrow. Indie was my wife’s Linda dog and he is partial to women. Kyle - AKA Oat is a Male, short hair, Gray, Tabby with some lighter gray strips. Born approx Oct 7, 2018, he is a very gentle, loving kitten. He is a purring machine wanting and needing to be held and loved. Up to date on his shots and worming, litter box trained, DOG FRIENDLY and enjoys the other cats. He spends most of this time with this litter mate Chunk, playing. He is a very cuddly and loving kitten, he is ready for a new lap to lay in. Chunk - A Male short hair, Orange BOB TAIL, Tabby, born approx. Oct. 7, 2018. Chunk is very affectionate and playful. He enjoys playing with his foster brother Kyle. He is starting to like the dogs more and more each day! He is very playful, comes running to see you and wants to be picked up and cuddled. He is litter box trained and eating solid food. He has had his first set of shots and worming. He likes other cats and gets along well with them. BEAR – A Spayed, Female, Orange Tabby, born approx. Oct. 7, 2018. Was found abandoned with an injured eye. The eye was too damaged so the Vet had to remove it. But that didn’t stop this little kitty from enjoying her life as a rescue! She is very sweet, lovable and furever grateful. Luca

Luca – a male, “ticked” gray tabby born in June 2018, started his little life with a broken leg, scared and hungry, he was given a chance with love. After weeks of healing, a strong healthy boy emerged into a sweet, fun and playful kitty. This little guy plays hard and fast, he's strong and loving and is making up for everything he missed out in as a baby. Loving to be cuddled, he'll let you hold him and carry him around. And don't forget bedtime! He's there to sleep at your feet all night long. This gentle boy has the sweetest spirit and is looking for his forever family. Bravo 1

"Bravo 1" is a spayed female, born approx. June 2018. A strong, vibrant jet-black kitten with golden eyes. Up to date on vaccinations and worming. She is rather shy but has had human contact ever since she was tiny. She has been living outside but seems inclined to cozy up to humans, especially when food is presented! Garfie

Garfie is a Male, orange tabby. Garfie came to the humane society with a broken leg. He was scheduled to be put down when Dr. Liz at Double Arrow decided to do the surgery at no cost to save this kitty. The surgery was a success and after 6 weeks in a caste, and given a clean bill of health, Garfie is ready to be a normal kitty and find a loving home. He is very lovable and forever grateful. He goes on outings with his foster parents and is very well adjusted to home life.
