Adoption through the WCHS

 We ask for a pet adoption fee to help offset the costs of getting animals ready for adoption.  The fee is $65 for cats, $85 for kittens, $250 for dogs and puppies.  This includes:
  •     All initial vaccinations
  •     De-worming
  •     Spay/neutering
  •     Medical records
  •    Five-day refund period:  if within 5 days a new pet shows signs of illness or other problems that occurred prior to the adoption, but was not showing symptoms at the time, it may be replaced at no additional fee, or a refund may be given.

We do not provide rabies vaccinations or leukemia tests.  We always recommend a visit to the vet soon after adoption.

To avoid any misunderstandings between tenants and landlords, if you are renting your home, we will need to contact your landlord for confirmation of their pet policy. We want everyone, pets and people, to enjoy their life together.
