Introducing Primrose💕💕 Primrose is under our home to home, meaning she is still in her home with her owners until her perfect home is found.

Primrose is 18 month old golden retriever. She is up-to-date on her shots. She has been spayed.

She has been very well cared for and very well loved.

unfortunately due to a life changing illness in the family they don’t have the capability of giving her the type of life to fulfill her daily needs.

Primrose would make a great family companion.

Primrose has lots of energy to burn. Ideally an active family. A fence yard would be a plus!

Primrose loves to play fetch she loves her ball, she loves car rides and she loves to be with her people. She is a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give.

Cons: no cats or small dogs. Unless you’re willing to train her not to chase. Primrose wants to play with them and chase them, but with Training she could be taught not to do that.

Zeus

Meet Zeus, a One-Year-Old Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold! Zeus is a playful and affectionate one-year-old boy who's bursting with puppy energy! He's a big snuggle bug and loves to shower his human friends with affection. While he's still learning his manners, Zeus is a quick learner and is already mastering basic commands.

 Important Note: Zeus is a big guy who can get a little carried away in his excitement. He's not the best fit for homes with cats or small dogs, as he can be a bit overwhelming to the smaller animals. He also needs a family with a good sense of humor and a willingness to work with him on his social skills. Think of Zeus as Chance from "Homeward Bound" – he's a love able goofball with a big heart and a playful spirit. With patience and guidance, Zeus will blossom into a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home: Zeus would thrive in an active home with adults or older children who can provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and gentle guidance. DEJA -  Born approx. July, 2023, is a spayed, black and brown long haired female. She had a litter of four kittens before being caught and spayed. Deja is a friendly indoor/outdoor cat who gets long with most other cats. Deja loves to be pet and “talks” a lot. Tabitha

TABITHA - is a female tabby born October 2024. She is growing into a social girl who enjoys lots of petting and treats. In her foster home, she has been excellent about using her litter box, enjoys toys, and is tolerant of the dogs. She is bigger, bolder, and more brown than her sister Samantha .  Up to Date on vaccinations and is spayed.

Samantha

SAMANTHA - is a female tabby born October 2024. In her foster home, she is learning to enjoy scratches, will sit by others on the couch, loves her churu treats, tolerates the dogs, and adores playing with her sister Tabitha. She is more silver and slightly smaller than Tabitha. Litter box trained, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed.

Mocha

Introducing Mocha. Mocha is about 2 years old small mix breed. She is spayed, house trained, is up to date on vaccinations, rabies and microchip. 

Mocha’s foster home says:

Mocha is okay around cats, but she has a chase instinct. 

She has started a couple tiffs when she first was getting use to being in the house with the cats. Now I dont see that same behavior so I'm not totally sure whether or not she is cat friendly. 

She is very smart and learns easily. 

She has excellent recall and can never get enough pets or give enough kisses. 

She needs to go 1 or 2 short walks every day but then is happy to be snuggled on the couch or following you everywhere in the house. 

Definitely a velcro dog. Although she'd probably make a good hiking buddy as well.

She does not bark, unless to alert at a door knock or something. 

She is potty trained.

She will let you clip her nails but she does not like it.

Wurdinger Kittens

3 tabby barn kittens - 1 male short haired, 1 female shorthaired and 1 male longer haired.

The female is pretty tame and the shorthaired male is pretty tame. The longer haired male is a bit wilder. All raised in the hay barn from a good mousing momma(that is getting fixed next month). On solid cat food and I’d guess around 10 weeks old. The two short haired would make nice gentle house cats for sure. $20 rehoming fee which will be donated to the WCHS.

Pork Chop

Introducing Pork Chop, he is one of our newest intakes. He is approximately two years old. He is part Jack, Russell, and Chihuahua. He was recently neutered and has his vaccinations rabies, and he is micro chipped. He is all set to go to his forever home.

He was brought into us from an overcrowded shelter in northern Utah. His owner had died suddenly of a heart attack and him and his sibling were left without an owner WCHS was called to see if we had room and a foster home became available to take him in.

Pork chop is a laid-back dog not hyper at all. He doesn’t bother cats and he gets along with other dogs. 

From what we have seen with pork chop, we think he would like a quiet home as he is a quiet boy himself maybe a single older person or an older couple he would make an ideal lapdog for someone and be your snuggle, buddy. Baker Kittens (Lower Valley - not Baker City)

Two adorable kittens still available for adoption! They are about 10-12 weeks old and have been given a well-kitten exam, been wormed, and have had their first shots.

Update: We have found homes for three of our five kittens and have two left we hope to place before Christmas

Soon available! Reserve your choice now. Five kittens born and raised in a Lower Valley hay shed of their smart mother’s choice. Two sets of B&W twins and one little black hombre (hombrette?) which seems to be leader of the pack. Probably 7-8 weeks old, potty trained already, just started preschool handling. $20 rehoming fee.
