This sweet shy girl is Mercedes! She is the biggest of the 4 chihuahuas as she is a mix breed of dachshund/Chihuahua
Who is 9 years old, 11.7 pounds, spay female. Mercedes came to WCHS as a owner surrender. Her family lost their home and had no place to take their 4 beloved chihuahuas and called WCHS if we could help and of course we did! The dogs all needed immediate dental care, vaccinations, and nail clips.
Mercedes has shown she can be shy. But with the right introduction she will be all yours! Mercedes loves to snuggle and be ready for a bed partner to snuggle with you!
Mercedes likes other small dogs but we always recommend a staff assisted meet and greet. She likes cats too! But we do not recommend a home with small children due to Mercedes smaller size. Kids make her nervous. Mercedes would do best in a quiet calm home where she can be on your lap or snooze on the couch on her blanket. Mercedes is housebroken and crate trained. Mercedes loves car rides and walks. Mercedes is up-to-date with all her vaccinations and dental.
