Doogie- 1.5 - 2 y/o hound mix.
This little bear is just a world of laughter, and he is a quick learner. Doogie being young will require a secure fence yard, kennel training, and lots of exercise. He is very shy at first, both of dogs and humans, but once comfortable the excitement is adorable. He’s definitely a silly dog. He will require a patient person that understands training for a puppy. If unoccupied he may grab something to chew or dig. Exercise, consistency, and a lot of love for this boy. He does good with other dogs when properly introduced. Enjoys a good chase of small animals but does great with cows and horses. He is a quick learner and has the hardest time calling off of birds. He loves to chase his birds and flush them from bushes. At this point he is leash walk trained, and “place” trained in the house.
He had a rough start to life so patience, exercise, and gentle hands /voice are the only way to train for him.
