WCHS is always looking for more folks all ages, including juniors 12 to 17, interested in joining our volunteer family.  You don’t have to be directly involved with the animals to help save lives.  Some of our programs,  events, and fundraisers include…

-  Summertime Dog Washes

-  Pet Therapy Visits to Wallowa Senior Living and Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise.  Alpine House in Joseph and Wallowa Riverhouse in Wallowa.

-  Working the Re-tail Boutique…retail, cleaning, sorting and hanging clothes, Catty Shack, cleaning and feeding cats and kittens

-  Making phone  calls from home

-  Fostering cats, dogs, and other animals in need

-  Fundraisers…selling raffle tickets, bake sales, silent auction, Santa paws,

  Barn sales

-  Parades

 - Help with Kids Movie Night

 - Educational classes

 -Adoption Outreaches

- Watershed Festival

- Wallowa County Fair

- Putting up flyers
