Mabel

MABEL - A 3-year-old English Cocker Spaniel and weighs about 25lbs. She is in excellent health, spayed, current on all vaccinations and de-wormer. Mabel currently lives with a family where she is well-loved. True to her breed she has a strong prey drive for birds and has developed an unbreakable habit of chasing and killing chickens. This is the only reason she is being re-homed.  She is a wonderful dog and would do well in a variety of different situations, but should not go to a home with chickens or other birds. Mabel is completely crate trained. Currently, she is crated when left alone, but no longer overnight.  She is potty trained.  She knows and follows basic commands. Mabel loves playing and snuggling with older children. She prefers living and spending time indoors with her family. Mabel loves walks and does well on or off-leash. Mabel does best when she spends most of the time with a person or people and is an excellent companion. She is very affectionate and appreciates attention. She tends to bond most closely with one or two people. Mabel enjoys playing with other dogs, and even cats, but prefers human companionship. KIM & KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN – Born Oct. 18, 2020, these bobtail tabbies are as sweet as can be, lovable and playful.  As if they weren’t cute enough, their bellies are polka dotted! Scotty

Scotty - Born Sept. 1, 2020, was found along side the road in Lostine in a blue towel at 1 day old with his sister June Bug!  Initially there were 6 but sadly 2 died. Scotty has had a rough start at life and is now thriving and ready for a very special, loving home.  Scotty is lovable, playful and purrs as soon as you touch him.  He has the the quietest meow, if any sound comes out at all.  Scotty loves belly rubs!

Scotty has white inside his ears, a little white on his chest and a pink belly.  He is first out of the gate for feeding time, and sleeps with one eye open just in case you want to play!  We would love to see Scotty go to a home with his sister, June Bug, but we know that is not always possible.

June Bug

June Bug is solid black but looks to be getting little white hairs which may or may not come through.  She is loyal and will want to run to you for love before food. June Bug sleeps soundly, but is skittish to sudden loud noises.  We would love to see June Bug go to a home with her brother, Scotty, but we know that is not always possible.

Badger

BADGER- A long-haired, female calico born approximately August 20, 2020. She is UTD on shots, dewormed and is litter box trained.

She started out feral but has been handled since 4 weeks old. Badger loves to play, snuggle and get lots of attention. She is used to small dogs and other cats. Deuce

Deuce - A long-haired, male tuxedo born approximately August 20, 2020. He is UTD on shots, dewormed and is litter box trained.

Deuce gets lonely when separated from his siblings and hasn’t been the quickest to accept other dogs and cats. He started out feral but has been handled since he was 4 weeks old. Tootsie is a mellow girl who loves to cuddle up with her favorite human. She loves to watch and observe her surroundings but also loves to play. Breeze

BREEZE - Corgi/border collie mix, 8yrs old, 23 pounds.  All caught up on vaccinations/spayed, Great little dog!  She knows several commands, is very smart, able to learn more, and trainable.  Rehoming because Breeze is being bullied by her sister since our big black Lab died last year.  We want her to be in a safe and calm home, free from a dominating female.  She likes walks and sometimes plays with a ball.  Breeze has a weak back leg but keeps on trucking.  Her leg only gets sore after jumping or climbing, which we try to limit (i.e. lift her up into the car).  Oh, she's a great travel companion.  Breeze likes her crate for quiet time.  Chews on a bone during the day, we crate her when alone, she's an active 8 yr old!   Also, sleeps in her crate at night.  She is a sweet, playful friend and will stare at her human when she needs to relieve herself.  She's very alert, smart, and likes to know what's happening. She enjoys people and meeting new visitors. A perfect day for Breeze includes a brisk walk in the morning after a nutritional breakfast, eager to wait, sit, or lay down, and wants to know what her human is doing around the house and "helping" (i.e. sitting close for some affection, enjoying a loving tummy rub or gnawing on one of her favorite bones), then a nice nap in her crate or on favorite rug. Breeze appreciates an afternoon walk in the park, enjoys a "wait" for dinner, playing some ("get the bone!"), and a vigorous walk in the evening before retiring to hearing "crate" for much needed sleep.  A ride in the car is welcome and she is a wonderful travel companion.  Contact Carol at 541-398-8435 if interested.
