It has been an incredible opportunity to work with the community since we’ve been so visible. Together we have stepped up the Trap/Neuter/Release program since it began over 30 years ago. More lost “owners” have been reunited with their pets, and more people have come forward to volunteer, just to name a few wonderful things that have come our way since the Info Center opened in October 2014. We are continuing our efforts to establish a sanctuary in the future.
The Center is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., except holidays. Jacqueline Valli our Volunteer Coordinator, has set up a schedule which is posted at the Center. All volunteers are asked to pick dates and times to work at the Center. Each volunteer will be partnered with an experienced volunteer to start. Without volunteers, there is no Wallowa County Humane Society. The animals and the people of Wallowa County will be helped by our efforts.
Call Carol, 541-263-0336, to vounteer. We invite you to stop by and visit the Center to see the changes and progress we’re making as we go forward.
The WCHS Information Center is located at 104 N. River Street in Enterprise.
